RLC Adults & Friends Night Dinner & Card Games
Sat., February 13, 2010 Dinner @ 5:30 p.m.
Following “clean up” choose a table to join your favorite or new card game.
Baked potatoes, salads & coffee/tea will be provided by the quilters
• Bring: *your own soft drinks *Munchies to share during games (nuts, M&M, etc), and,
* a friend !

Ash Wednesday Service February 17 7:00 pm
Ashes are an ancient symbol of repentance, cleansing, and human mortality. The ashes are made from burning the palm branches from the previous year’s Palm Sunday celebration. Worshippers are marked with ashes in the sign of the cross on their foreheads with the words “Remember you are dust, and to dust you shall return” as a visible sign of inner penitence and in recognition of one’s mortality.
Mid-week Lenten services February 24 –March 24
O Lord, throughout these forty days….we walk with Jesus towards the cross.
Stations of the Cross service…song, prayer and mediation.
Wednesday evening services at 5:30, followed by soup and bread supper.
